I can't believe the comments here. A BSC failure wouldn't have collapsed the financial system it would just have allowed it to correct as is sorely needed. Did any of you read that LEH just used LBO loans as collateral to borrow from the FED? That is just plain crooked. All this maneuvering by the FED is just moving losses from wall street to me and you. The bad part is, like the guy that keeps getting another credit card to pay off the overlimit ones, it will all come crashing done eventually and YOU and I are going to pay for it.
