they need fresh blood from outside, period. first, microsoft would not come back to the table while sue decker is at helm, they just wont wast their time on the same group of people. second, if microsoft forever let go of yahoo, or for a quite while, yahoo needs a really different chief to lead them out of the mess. sue represents the past, not the future. she probably already starts looking for her next job.
