what happened to seekingalpha? not many quality posts any more, but tons of "shallow" "pumpers". i hardly see any difference between yahoo message board vs this one. Yeah, valuation is low because it is merely 900mil, how about 1000B? this post simply remind me of the internet bubble that just left us not so long ago. i heard people name their holding prices and hope to hand them over to the next idiot who turned out to be himself.

I am actually over-weighting STP instead of focus solely on TSL. This is not "buying grocery" and can hardly do apple-to-apple comparison. More like apple-to-cherry to me. TSL has one of the lowest PEG ratio and consistently deliever solid growth. On top of that, they now position themself in the same range grass margin as JASO/STP. it was below 20% before. Solar is a very much manufacture oriented business and consistently need a lot of capital for expansion, renovate equipments and conserve raw materials. Scale does matter. TSL has its niche and STP is better/saver bet in my opinion.

dont forget JASO which is a chinese solar company which is led by seasoned executives rooted silicon valley and focus solely on solar cell production, the segment which has most technical value.
