  • After G-20: The Beginning of the End of the Old Order [View article]
I do not think Obama will give up the US dollar standaard. I do believe that after the 6 UAE nations establish their currency US, will be hard pressed to have them trade oil on the dollar exclusively.
Enter Canada and it's oil reserves, enter clean coal, enter technology such as Solar and wind, enter Natural Gas. I sincerely believe the world is underestimating the true power of the US, it's ability to be creative and innovative. If any nation wants us to buy back our debt, we will just print the money. Personally, i still see the US dollar as the worlds most powerful currency. And no, it's not a romantic vision, it's a reality.

  • Economic Efficiency Cannot Be Calculated [View article]
Sorry i do not agree. I follow the logic of swimming in the pack. Let's me pick up plenty of what's left back. You fight the pack, you lose. That's the problem, the pack herds the masses ("save") and everyone goes into CD's. Meanwhile what do they do? They use YOUR money to leverage themselves. Me, i'll put my faith in treasuries rather than banks. Even if it deflates i still get a return, not busted like maddoff's big winners.
