    With the panic buying what assurance your gold is in inventory? In a bust, what assurance of recouping investment? Maybe a less exciting metal ETF is safer? Maybe your own bullion?

    What assurance is there reserves can cover all the new sales? If things go bust want to gamble you can be paid back? Maybe a less well used commodity might be safer?
