Apple's Problems - Bad to the Core? [View article]
Let's not dismiss this guy. Since the first Mac in 1984, I have been a great fan of Apple and Steve Jobs. Unfortunately, I too have been surprised to see the load of missteps that Apple has made with the release of the 3G phone. All Apple enthusiasts expect the best from Apple. This is why we love the company. If they begin to produce things less then "the best" this excellent reputation will erode, and their following will also erode. I truly hope that these missteps don't become a part of the pattern of Apple behavior in the future. I actually believe that they will not be. If they become a part of Apple's future ongoing behavior, we will all suffer since there is no other company that consistently produces the best technology that is easily used by people.

"The early adopters and gadget geeks have all gotten their iPhones, and now competitors are lining up with similar products"
Are you kidding me? Similar products? The iPhone is in a class by itself. None of the other "similar" products work as beautifully as my iPhone. I have never had a product so elegantly designed. And as to flash, I really don't care. I already view my email attachments on the iPhone and Apple has done an excellent job at allowing me almost identical internet experience on my phone as on my computer. I just don't get this article at all.
