    • Why the 2008 Housing Relief Bill is No Relief [view article]
I recommend CANING for the drug addicts.
It would solve drug related issues in USA and prevent any woman into marrying a drug addict ever.

If you do not know what caning is all about...that cane is close to an inch in diameter. You are tied to a frame to prevent you from moving, they use leather to cover your spine, else they may break your back and you become paralyse, if they hit on the spine...just one strokke, it will break the skin...more than one inch...takes 6mths for the wound to heal...and you get another stroke to break the skin again right after.

    • Just How Terrible Is Housing as an Asset Class? Roubini Weighs In [view article]
      Rent or Own
If one has to spend too much money on housing/shelter...ther... be no money for anything else.

Rent or own....it has got to be affordable...that excess money can then be used to help the consumerism economy of ours.

Bottomline -affordable housing is a min a government must provide to 'market' to its pple..... basic infracstructure: housing, transport, telecommunications, news, health care etcs these are always going to be profitable corporate or government owned.

Free up the money for the failed SS, med, and allow american to use the SS and the 401k to make monthly payment for the mortgage.

    • ForeclosureS.com: One Million Foreclosures By Year's End [Housing Tracker] [view article]
So what if there are 10 million foreclosure homes...It be another 10 years when the lender/bank clerks will start working thru those docs..even if there are potential buyers...

They will move so slow..so slow that the market will not see enough 'buyable' properties. Price will remain strong instead...Slowsky could well be a strategy by the lenders/banks.

The Fed had a chance to made it right. Prevent the lenders to reset the mortgage rate (i mean, yes, punish the lender - they will survive, just less income)...allow the use of 401k (or even suspend our failing social security) & SS by the owners to pay monthly mortgage...it didnt happen. If lenders were then to tighten the lending to the market, the property prices will correct itself

    • Will Housing Bottom in 2010 or 2012? [view article]
With congress bailout package in july 08...It will stop falling unfortunately

For super overpriced state like CA...the bottom of property should have been
      1) 3x to 5x medium income for medium home price
      or
      2) would have been 100x to 150x of rental
      or
      3) Rental that give 8% return

What is likely to happen...Rental goes up to meet the high property prices.

CA is way way way overpriced...

    • Yahoo's on Life Support: Here's Why [view article]
I cannot stop but wonder that these so call internet giants; google, yahoo...are actually cooking their numbers so that they have advertisers pay them a lot of $$ - did advertisers using google even correlate their real online sales to the so call 'clicks' claimed by these online internet search giants.

Web users want to search for free....we do not start buying something just bcos the online advertisement keep flashing at us...we do our research (any search engines will do), check the price and may not necessary buy online.

Some day these big corporate customers of google or yahoo will realise that it isnt what it seems online advertsing is not really that effective,,,, are google /yahoo the next Enron in the making?
