3 Things America Needs to Do to Get the Economy Back on Track

The U. S. economy is a Ponzi Scheme based on cheap labor and large amounts of credit. When the country, both government and citizens, realize that a no-growth economy is the only economy that will work, then the U. S. will prosper. Everyone doesn't need a BMW or a gold chain around thier neck; everyone can have health care and a decent retirement. However, this state of affairs will never come about due to politics. Hence the U. S. will sink to being a minor player in history.

Kicking People Out - Cramer's Stop Trading! (9/24/08)

People will still get kicked out of their houses. Let housing prices tank and they can get back in sooner. I was renting as I moved a couple of years ago and foresaw this fiasco.
But my landlord quit paying the mortgage, but kept the rent money.

Cramer is just pimping for the bankers. Notice that no one is talking about adding a repeal of that bankruptcy law passed a couple of years ago.

There is far more wrong with our economy, which is based on growth with cheap labor, than just the mortgages. It is riddled with Ponzi schemes such as Social Security.

If free markets are not allowed to correct, then let's just nationalize banks and houses!!

"Cramer and Dugas agreed that now may be a great time to buy a home and shares of Pulte Homes."

"Now is the time to buy" is the mantra of every real estate sale person. They were saying it at the peak of the recent bubble. I can't believe Cramer is spouting such foolishness.
