  • Retail Firms at Risk for Bankruptcy [View article]
Check your list there genius. There are several companies in no way shape or form close to BK. Where are your banks? Banks like CIT that are teetering on the edge every second. Most of these will see a slump but will recover stronger after the recession due to their abilities to trim costs and reduce staff. Some hold Govt contracts and have proprietary patents that our Govt would not allow to pass on to foreign suiters looking to grab a bargain company. Add some banks and you may have some credibility.

Fair market cap value is around 8.2 billion or $2.12 per share. Let us see what SIRI brings in Q3 and come back for discussions. I will still be here.

I would advise you to not buy the stock then. You are far smarter than us dummy investors here. Thanks for your wisdom. You left out one thing. The $2.7 billion in annual revenue. Also the $500 million in so far created synergies of the combined two companies. But who counts that?

Obviously you don't follow the fundamentals of this company so i can see where you get this opinion from thin air. Today SIRI is stronger than ever. If you look at earnings you will see that SIRI nor XM has ever in their history been so close to profits. Even though they may lose a few subs they are growing towards a profit level. Every quarter prior to Q2, SIRI never obtained a level closer to -.06. Q2 was -.01. Can you see the direction were we are headed no. Not down unless your laptop is upside down on your lap. Turn it over. Yeah!! No you see what we see.

How much research have you really done or are you just making statements off of hearsay and newsletters? Are you aware that SIRI has not one but two sets of satelites in the air. They need only one set or birds. Their total debt includes approx $3.4 billion and those unneeded assets are worth approx. $3.2 billion. Yes they have debt but they also have a viable media outlet and content to sell that people want. Does everyone? Of course not but there will be a lot of happy people in China and around the world that would love to hear American content and American media entertainment. The internet will deliver that to them in droves. To understand SIRI is not only to understand their debt but also their assets which total over $7 billion. This would be how it gets done.
