Someplace I read that that the share division of the dividend was that the stockholder would get the first __dollar amount (?I dont have the figure) and that above that amount parent company, Terra, would get 50 percent of the remaining dividend.
Is this correct? If so then the shareholder recieves more than 50 percent of the dividend because they get the first x dollar amount.

Regarding fertilizer fears about the cost of natural gas...these costs just seem to get passed unto the farmer.
With the high yield hybrids for corn, more N is needed for more bushels per acre...and that is the farmer's goal, more bushels per acre. What the city guy does not understand is that despite the ups and downs in corn price, all these prices are sky-high for the farmer and will not affect how much fertilizer he buys because the lack of fertilizer lowers his bottom line....one farmer's opinion.
