Marvel is a tight ship and a well-run company. The success of Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk have proven Marvel to be a savvy production company that is very particular, and obviously successful, in how they produce, market and sell their products. It's Sept. 15 and the market is going down the tubes, thanks to the Lehmann, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac meltdowns. However, Marvel is doing marvelous, up .32 to $35.11. I love how these dimwit 'analysts' predict. I think that wandering gypsies with crystal balls are actually more accurate. Make Mine Marvel: Buy on the dips; just don't listen to them.

With regards to Marvel, I find it profoundly interesting that the 'analysts' were pretty pessimistic about Marvel prior to the release of Iron Man. But they flip-flopped pretty quickly and set Marvel up for a fall with their overly optimistic opinions. But Marvel is known for conservative estimates, an continually exceeds them. I think the 'analysts' need to go back to school and stop trying to be media stars themselves.

I've owned shares of Marvel for a couple of years and have been keenly watching the previews and geek response to them. I ended up trading in my shares of Oracle for Marvel after seeing what looked like a terrific job they'd done on Marvel. Here it is Monday, and I'm pleased as punch that Iron Man blew the lid off of the idiot analysts who thought that Marvel 'didn't have any more good characters....' He who laughs last... and with a healthy profit... laughs best!
