Maybe we should use words like less than successful instead of failure, who knows ! As far as INTC executives making the right moves, time will tell and the Market shall judge. The price of the stock will tell right or wrong.

I have owned NOV for over five years. That shouldn't carry as much weight as Buffet owning NOV,although knowing that fact does mean something none the less. What price he bought it at is not as important as him owning it as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the great article !!

  • Dividend Growth Gems Still Provide Significant Opportunity [View article]
    Hello Brian
Great article as always. I own MSFT and have owned PG in the past. I will probably purchase PG before I would add to my MSFT for one reason and one reason only.....Gates and Ballmer !! I believe until there is a fundamental change in the way they do business and change the way the company is structured, then nothing will change.

It doesn't make feel warm and fuzzy inside when the new CEO has to learn on the job and asks Billy to come back and help him along. True, their dividend is good and the profitability is sure and steady.....unfortunately they have failed miserably at every new venture that they have bought to market, except for Xbox, which they have failed to monetize.

I will give them credit as far as the cloud is concerned, it seems they have their act together in that regard. As far as reaching the 46 level, I would think Bill and Steve would have to say good bye for good before that happens. Until then, P&G seems a better bet for my Portfolio. Thanks again for the great article.

  • Mulally staying at Ford, Microsoft -1.7% AH [View news story]
let's see.....Ballmer staying again to the end of the year =lower stock price....oh yes to the end of 14 of course. Gotta have stable leaderlessship...er I mean leadership. I'll need tax losses for 14 anyway. The board....Oh yes. What will they say. Due to the lack of interest in the whole wide world and in order to retain the best and the brightest (corporate speak) Stevie has decided to stay. Is this possible ? You bet your sweet Bippy it is !!

Added PSX back into my portfolio at 71.25...Still considering PSXP. Will see what the interest rate monster does to us in the near future before adding PSXP.

Traderny....I believe that PSXP management have stated that they would be getting a lot of Business from PSX. That in my opinion, should bode well for them in the future. As albert stated, they intend to be a growth MLP. I have started to reposition my own portfolio and I am considering adding PSXP.

Excellent article ! Short and to the point. I sold this stock for a nice gain and since have repurchased shares. If there is any kind of protracted pullback, I will be buying again. Thanks Alfonso.

Spot on assessment. Your comment is very much like the valuation model that the motley fool has for LNKD. I believe most people have missed the boat with their conclusions on how LNKD should be valued at this time and what the possibilities are for the company in the future. Thanks !!

Regardless of spinoffs and valuations....This stock has been a great long term hold. Management has been continually creating value for it's shareholders. As long as they keep going this way, I shall remain happy !
