I hope Barnes and Noble will open a store in Benderson's University Town Center shopping area in Sarasota. This huge, green shopping area will feature upscale stores like Nordstrom's and Neiman Marcus, and also has SuperTarget and Bed Bath and Beyond. This area has no bookstores (except for a small indy one on Lakewood Ranch Main Street for children's books only) and it's a half hour's drive or more for residents in this upscale area to drive to Barnes and Noble or Border's on Route 41. I hope either B&N or Borders will open one in this new shopping area!
