Stocks Rally on Financial Writedowns: Overly Optimistic?

It is sadly true that investors are no more so much impressed by write-downs and consider them as "normal" (as when it was "normal" to value Internet companies by the number of visitors...) I think we should expect more write-downs and perhaps anohter capital increase from UBS this year. These guys just don't seem to be able to evaluate their exact financial situation.
