Nuclear power is the future, but not the inefficient waste generating present generation of light water reactors. We need to rapidly move to a new generation fast reactors that don't require large amounts of enriched uranium. This will eliminate the need to mine great quantities uranium for the future. It also solves the long half life waste problem at the same time.
