Yes, eminent domain might be used by that nasty ol' gubbmint to take away your real estate and use it for something other than what you want to use it for. Our government took it all away from the Indians and gave it to white folks in the name of public good (all the while protecting the white settlers with a gubbmint-subsidized military force), so they can certainly take away a few piddling acres from you, too. The Indians didn't even get fair market value.
