SEC Makes a Move on Naked Short Selling: Too Little, Too Late for Sirius [View article]
Amazing how you did not respond to any of my comments SIRI Doom. After all of my offers, yuo have not even attempted to email me to straighten anything out, get set up to argue your case on Satwaves, or even provide a shred of proof to any of your statements. I find that particularly strange for a non-basher.
And by the way: Rather than recieving a bonus check this year, the insiders were given stock. This stock was set to sell in 20 payments throughout this year and next. You know what? There is another planned sale on 8/5!! (I know you would have made a big deal on this one, since it is the day before the CC. You would say it is proof that the quarter was bad or some crap like that. I know how your type thinks.)
These are planned sells that insiders have no way of changing. The sales were decided by the company, not the officers themselves. You want the rest of the dates? Here you go: 8/5/09; 8/19/09; 9/3/09; 9/18/09; 10/2/09; 10/21/09; 11/4/09; 11/18/09; 12/3/09; 12/23/09; 1/6/10; 1/21/10; 2/5/10; 2/18/10; 3/4/10.
Once again, I offer EVERYONE to come to Satwaves to see the TRUTH. http:/satwaves.com

J. Stew: Satellite Radio may not be for everyone, but over 15 million selfpaying subscribers would disagree with you.
I cannot listen to uncensored comedy anywhere else but SatRad, and perhaps an iPod.
I cannot listen to ESPN radio anywhere else, 24/7.
I cannot listen to Howard Stern or Opie and Anthony or Bubba the Love Sponge anywhere else.
I cannot listen to a single AM/FM radio station as I drive accross the state of Texas. I cannot get live content on my iPod. Music on an iPod costs money (unless you are breaking the law. You wouldn't do that, now would you?). AM/FM wastes 20 minutes of my life every hour by bombarding me with commercials.
Every service has its pros and cons. For me, Sirius XM pros outweigh the cons. Yes, I have an iPod and an iPhone, and a CD player for that matter, and I listen to all of them. (NEVER listen to AM/FM if I can avoid it at all). But Sirius XM gets my vote as the best, and it gets my subscriber dollar.
If it is not for you, that is fine. But why do you come here and comment on this company if it has a dying business model? I sense alterior motives.
I challenge ALL of you to come to www.satwaves.com for intellegant discussion. SIRI Doom: I have offered, and will continue to offer. Come to Satwaves. Email me. I will set you up. You will be uncensored. Post some facts to back up your claims and we will leave you alone. Until then, you are basher with an agenda. You run when confronted with facts. You change the subject and never address the facts you are presented with. You make acusations against people like Relmar having multiple IDs that he uses to discredit you. You have stated that Relmar and myself are paid by Sirius XM to post here. You have even suggested that Sirius XM has Seeking Alpha is paid by Sirius XM to delete your comments! Come on dude...

SIRI Doom: Do you even believe half of the crap that you spew?
How can you predict $390 million in lost cash flow? You realize that Q1 (historically the WORST quarter of the year) only showed a cash flow loss of 4 million?
At the beginning of the comments for this article, you mention Mel's lending of shares to GS for shorting purposes. You are correct about that, however if the shares were there to be lent, then obviously THEY WERE NOT FAILED TO DELIVER. Keep that in mind. The number that Brandon is talking about in the article is FAILURES TO DELIVER. This is on TOP OF any normal legal shorting of the stock.

peutetre: You are right. We are not investing in a failing company. We are invested in a GROWING company. How many people can say that over the past year?
dividend: You speak of a very sore subject when bringing up reverse split in a Sirius forum. LOL. If you think your response was harsh, you should see the responses I got on one of my articles: seekingalpha.com/artic....
I said that it would not matter if a delisting notice came, because I think the company would do GOOD by doing a reverse split sometime in the next few months (They have until march 2010 before they either split or appeal). I got a lot of hate mail on that article... and it was a bullish article!
Oh well, best of luck to you and your news letter... hopefully in the next few years, your news letter will include the dividends that sirius is paying to its shareholders once they are debt free!
Don't get me wrong: Bashers are more than welcome at Satwaves. I love to hear opposing points of view. But at satwaves, we require information that is backed by FACTS (and links), something that is SELDOM provided here by certain bashers.

That is why it is important to contradict the nonsense that SIRI DOOM is spewing. Your question is built apon his nonsense, and is very misinformed.
Mel CANNOT BUY UP ALL OF HIS SHARES at the same time. The shares vest on a schedule. In fact, he can not buy ANY shares right now. The first time he CAN buy any of those shares is December 31st, 2010, at which time 25% (or 30 million shares) vest. SIRI DOOM never posts links to his so-called "proof", but I will on mine. satwaves.com/forum...
The other thing? When he does "buy" the shares... HE DOES NOT DO IT ON THE OPEN MARKET. He buys them directly from the company because the company has set aside these shares for the bonuses. It will not affect the common stock or the market one little bit.
SIRI DOOM also states that Mel could not reverse split because it was dependant on NASDAQ listing rules. While Mel has said that the RS would be used only for listing requirements, they RS agreement that was voted on by all shareholders has absolutely nothing mentioning NASDAQ in it. In fact, it says they can RS at any time based on the judgement of the board of directors. Here is the link: satwaves.com/forum...
You see, we at Satwaves.com have the facts. Anyone looking for the facts should come over and check us out.
I have offered to let SIRI Doom come over and plead his case and provide facts, yet he refuses to do so. Apparently, he provided his facts "months ago"... must have been privately where no one else ever say them. My links are listed above... where are his?

SIRI Doom:
I understand that you are anti-Mel, but why do you continue to spread information that has been proven to be wrong? To do so is unethical, unfounded, and just plain wrong. As Relmar says, if you continue to spew the same disinformation even after being SHOWN the proof, what are people to think other than the fact that you are a basher?
As I mentioned in another article: Send me an email at newman@satwaves.com and I will get you onto Satwaves boards to explain your case, as well as to allow us to educate you as well on a couple of your erroneous facts.

Oh really? So you say that in January, Mel can purchase all 120 million stock OPTIONS at 43 cents each? Hmm, I will use YOUR link to prove you wrong...
It seems you posted the first half of the filing, but not the second half? Why is that? Oh wait, that is because that is the half that proves you are an idiot and do not know how to read, or at least interpret an SEC filing. Here is the other half that you convenienly left out:
"The Option will vest in equal installments on each of December 31, 2010, December 31, 2011, June 30, 2012 and December 31, 2012. The vesting of these stock options will accelerate upon the termination of Mr. Karmazin's employment by us without cause, by him for good reason, upon his death or disability and in the event of a change of control. The Option will generally expire on December 31, 2014; provided that if the parties subsequently agree to extend the term of the Employment Agreement through December 31, 2013 or later, then the term of the Option will automatically extend until the later of (i) December 31, 2015 and (ii) the date that is one year following the date that such new employment agreement expires. "
So... now that THAT has been shot down, what are you going to argue about now? Perhaps a misspelling in my post somewhere? Grammer perhaps? Thats usually where you people go when you have no FACTS.
You post what you KNOW? You don't KNOW jack. You SPECULATE quite a bit... Your agenda is to discredit the managment of this company. Hmm, sounds like someone else's agenda as well. IF Mel were to do what you are suggesting is his plan, there were be HUGE lawsuits. I can bet you that Relmor and I would both be involved in them. But you have ABSOLUTELY NO SOLID PROOF about anything that you are suggesting. NONE.

SIRI-DOOM: Great way to avoid actually giving any facts. Typical of you and the group and leader that you claim not to be a part of.
1) Relmor and I are 2 completely different persons. Any idiot can see that our writing styles, opinions, and trading patterns are completely different. Go over to www.SatWaves.com and see this... oh wait, you have been banned there because you keep posting this drivel and never posting facts when asked time after time... because you have none.
2) The title of this peice (which SEEKING ALPHA assigned to the article) was negative. The article as it was written was positive. I am saying that Sirius is in a position to a) break the $1 by itself, or b) not be negatively affected by a reverse split because of all of the positives. I also mention that this is a non-issue because NASDAQ will more than likely extend the minimum listing requirements. Tell me how ANYTHING in this article is negative, other than the title?
3) If Mel wanted to take the company private for pennies on the dollar, they would have let it go bankrupt and Mel could have purchased the entire company for a few hundred million after the debt was wiped out in BK court.
