Axion Power Concentrator 237: May 16: Axion Power Reports First Quarter Results For 2013 [View instapost]
What I wanted to ask yesterday at the CC was if either BMW, NS or other customers who are testing the PbC have had the opportunity to test the new battery, their comments, and if this would have an impact on further testing being required?
Have the numbers of automotive OEM's remained the same, who are either testing the PbC, or are getting ready to testing the PbC, And has the interest level of any of these OEM's increased or decreased and/or is the focus changing to a higher voltage system i.e. 48 volt.?
What are the buyer objections that you have to overcome in selling the PC?
## What I note that was mentioned before, but not mentioned this CC. IIRC wasn't there something about NS testing the PbC for different uses, i.e. start/stop, crane use, or was that just a factoid that we created, or just speculation?
APU - looked at year end report and saw nothing about APU - is that another factoid, or just speculation, or was this an announcement, or appeared during another CC?
Additionally, wondering what is the significance of TG's 200 amp comment. My sleuthing uncovered that a car battery has to provide something around that figure, or more to start the car, but would TG mean that the PbC can discharge 200 amps for longer periods of time, where a car battery tends to die out after a few minutes of cranking?

I'm hoping the consortium has a couple of industry bigger players who have experience off shore.
Still wondering about where we stand on those RFP's that were close to maturity.
And although people have unfortunate financial positions. I am still irked at what appears to me to be a very lukewarm vote on their own abilities and beliefs when management put in the level of funds that they did during the financing. I just wonder what their favored investments alternatives are, if not AXPW. They would have been better off not to have purchased anything as then I wouldn't have noticed. Makes me rethink purchasing more stock today. The last I'm going to write about this topic, but it continues to hit a nerve with me.

In addition to other statements, i.e. OEM news and stop/start with trucks especially, this stood out to me (although we had heard about the 25% increase in "energy" IIRC):
"significant improvement in amperage available (greater than 25%), a decrease in the internal resistance of the battery (more than 25%) resulting in an ability to pull larger loads at speed."
Just like Axion's attitude toward improvement and innovation. A bigger gap between ourselves and the competition.
Something I am wondering about is the APÛ program for trucks and if that is continuing? Hopefully more flavor tomorrow and more clarity on other issues.

Indelco, Couldn't find anything specific to batteries in the warranty, however on page 13:
Maintenance/Wear The New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover: (1) parts and labor needed to maintain the vehicle; and (2) the replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear. You, as the owner, are responsible for these items. See your Owner’s Manual. Some examples of maintenance and normal wear are: • oil changes • oils, lubricants, other fluids • oil/air filters • tire rotation/inflation • cleaning/polishing • clutch linings • wiper blades* • wheel alignments and tire balancing* • brake pad/lining*
As batteries are not mentioned anywhere in the warranty, I´m guessing that they would come under the "normal wear" category, as the above are just "some examples".

John, I linked it a couple days ago on your ePower instablog. This link will get you to the European Patent office and from there can follow to other patents. http://bit.ly/10N5yul

Was going to ask something similar as I am curious if anyone besides ePower has tested the step change battery.

I can't say I have a full understanding of the financing. If that is the case, I would offer my apologies.
