In the Lake District I had the fortune of having my photo taken beside one of the rare Renault Twizys to be found in the UK. It was being used as an advertising billboard. It is as heinous "in person" as it is in photos. Bolstered by its inspirational, genius and award winning design, it has sold a total of 14 units in the UK in 2014. Was nice to have my photo taken by a rare collectors item. Wonder if the manager of the Twizy project has been fired, promoted, now works in a cubicle in the basement, or was hired by another company for his leading edge thinking.

The Twizy billboard stated that the UK government had purchased an unspecified number of Twizys for rental to tourists to promote green tourism in the Lake District. The UK government must be about the only customer. Maybe it is that lack of windows thingy.

Let´s see just how many American batteries make it into the French electrical grid system - zero will be the answer. Ticks me off.

In the midst of a 10 day pub exploration of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Just returned from sampling several local ales. Glad that PbC Believer is not along on the trip with me.

    "What our customers tell us:
"I bought the brain shielding cap....and I wanted to say THANK YOU FOR HAVING THIS PRODUCT. It helped stop the feelings I had from some device that was being used on me. I couldn't believe that the day I put on the cap the feeling and signal was blocked and it instantly felt myself again. I also bought the RF shielding poncho and few others products... I'm in awe on how these things are actually a cure to my suffering."

Was that you SMaturin that wrote this?

    Smaturin,
Only got to see Bozo when we went to Denver once a year as we only had one television channel; and as luck would have it Bozo was on a different channel. Was always jealous of the kids who got to see Bozo - it seemed so suave, sophisticated and big city. SMaturin, you must have had a truly magical childhood - watching Bozo, a country child could only dream.

I ran some rough figures awhile back, based on some internet fuel mileage figures of locomotives, trying to figure out how far 1,000 PbC batteries would power a freight train. The 150 mile figure must be a really short train, downhill, and without any stops or slowdowns.

    ii wrote regarding trolls,

".... and can be well versed in human psychology to steer in a manner...."

I don't think any of ours would fit that description. I follow some of their postings, but only out of morbid curiosity.

    Edmund,
I always imagine trolls to be like Carl Spackler of Caddyshack and the ball washing scene - only on the computer reading responses to their posts.

    KillaCycle,
"The fuel consumption per hp per hr at a given RPM is the same."

My reading of the charts and your quote would suggest that the larger and higher horsepower engine would consume more fuel per hour, although consume the same per horsepower. So a 5.9 litre engine with higher horsepower would consume more total fuel per hour than a 3.9 litre with fewer horsepower. Meaning the efficiency per horsepower is the same, but total consumption increases as horsepower increases - a positive relationship between horsepower and consumption, but a constant relationship between horsepower and consumption. Or am I reading this wrong?

I´m trying to think who was the most interesting troll. The winner would probably be Metals are Precious for a previously undisclosed personal email that he sent me a couple of years ago. I did not send him a previous email, or respond to this one.

"Metals are PreciousMarch 30, 2012 7:32am I cannot wait to see you go broke!!!! If it s fine to block my comments then i am just like another person. You see you are lost, just following a crowd who you hope have a clue. Well guess what they don't!!! When you have people climbing into trunks i call this desperation. When i see a geat friend question what the hell the company is doing only to be called names shows how pathetic you really are as a group.

Just had to let you know what i think of your investment skills. But you already know , you named yourself...lol..This will be fun to watch!!"
