Why I [Don’t] Want My Blackberry Bold [View article]
Maybe their market intelligence told them there is no one left to buy a bold because they already bought the iphone. I also toyed with a demo unit and I wouldn't want one!
Apple: An Antidote to iPhone Complacency [View article]
What is the point of this article?
"My long history with Apple is EXACTLY why I think the ahisotric Apple bigots (particularly the iPhonatics) are missing the boat."
That company was a different company from today's company. Then, Apple Computer Inc. was dependent on a microprocessor vendor which did not help Apple carry its torch as Intel did for its customers. Today, Apple Inc. has freed itself from many shackles.
"Today, there’s an even wider range of companies that could do to the iPhone what Windows 95 did to the Mac. " Apple is not the incumbent company at Risk here; I'd say these comments should be directed at RIM with respect to smartphones.
I could take issues with a lot more, but my final comment is you imply you have a PhD, so name calling of Apple supporters and IPhone adopters as "Apple bigots (ahistoric or otherwise) and "iPhonatics" is unbecoming of people who have earned the distinction of Doctor of Philosophy.
re "It's also the type of action to get apple and att to fix their products". NO, if its an Apple problem it'll get fixed without a lawsuit; you obviously do not know Apple!
Apple: Great Company with Lofty Valuation - Due for Pullback [View article]
One more thing; for those who might take exception to my apparent frivolous comments in defense of Apple, this is no different from the writer of the article who is equally frivolous, except he is more verbose by regurgitating statements we have already read repeatedly elsewhere. Of more important and timely significance is the fact that AAPL is holding its own today in a very down market and it appears that institutional buying on the rise, moving from -6.4% to -5.6%. So, if AAPL is due for a pull back its would only be because the shorts would like to see one.

The question is....which big bank to put your money into; I bet they all won't be around in 2010, and as fro those fat dividends, they will go the way GM dividends went.
Apple: Great Company with Lofty Valuation - Due for Pullback [View article]
There is a counter point to negate every one made in this article. The one I will focus on is "heavy insider selling". In the past six months those sales were at prices ranging from $140 to $172, AAPL closed last Friday at $176, so what is the significance of this selling? People have to exercise options if they are about to expire. Personal income taxes have to be paid on the gain, and where will the cash come from to pay these taxes??
