Why Chasing Yields Will Lead to Disappointment

Having had the luck or foresight to buy Payx at 21, having missed ADP before it's rise, I feel good about my long term prospects for dividends and appreciation.
Shouda couda wouda.....bought ADP before it's dividend increase and more of Payx @ 20-21.
But not complaining with a loaf of bread under my arm.
