What DuPont's secretive bosses rarely mention in public is the looming BIG BLACK HOLE in Pharma earnings. Over $1 billion in yearly Pharma pre-tax operating income will soon disappear forever as the patents on two drugs, Cozaar and Hyzaar expire. These drugs are the only assets of the Company's phased-out and fading Pharma business segment, the only segment which showed an increase in PTOI in 4Q 2008, year over year.
