Does Verizon Really Need the iPhone?

I think ATT is getting a bum rap. I rarely have problems with ATT, certainly no more than I did when I had Verizon.

Unfortunate for ATT but they are the current popular whipping boy.

Palm Investors Await 'Pre'-lude

I looked at the Pre and felt that it was pretty much unusable. The screen was hard to read, the keyboard too small and the soft buttons on the screen too hard to hit. That combined with Sprint killed the Pre for me. So I got an iPhone 3GS instead and could not be happier.

I like the idea of making the Pre screen bigger. It is bearly readable at the current size and the screen buttons are too small and hard to hit. The keyboard is too small too. A bigger Pre (the Post?) could solve many problems - bigger screen easier to read and operate, bigger keyboard faster to type and why not a bigger battery. Now you have solved three major problems with the Pre.

(PS: I am a happy iPhone user who loves the on screen keyboard.)

ATT is unfairly bashed about their service. I switched from Verizon and have not had any problems. In fact, in some places I travel, ATT has been better than VZW.

Lots of 'ifs' - I think they are fighting an uphill battle with some real disadvantages (Sprint, iPhone 3.0, Android and the give-a-way BB's).
