By precancer i assume you just mean polyps. Others using blood are aiming for much higher than that. The goal is maximizing the detection of cancer, finding the correct ratio to minimize false positives and false negatives. Others have much better performance than exas has shown. exas is not in the lead. I'm surprised you don't know this. exas will tell you who the other players are, just ask. Or ask your extensive network of advisors and pharmacists.

Regarding EXAS, all else equal, what do you think is better, a blood draw to detect colon cancer or a stool test? Lots of companies are working on the blood test. Blood you get a sample taken at the doctors office. Stool you take a kit home, poop into a small cup, scoop out the necessary amount and mail back to the lab. Commercially speaking, exas may be obsoleted before they even finish their trial.
