The real question is, "Do I want to own it or not." Ignoring tax issues, I don't want to own a stock if I wouldn't buy it today at its current price. Ideally, investors should try to avoid positions in which taxes become the most important consideration. THREE CORRECTIONS: DDM is ProShares tries to match 2X DJIA. DXD tries to match 2X the inverse of the DJIA. UXI tries to match the 2X the Industrials SECTOR, not the Industrials AVERAGE. They all have a role, both for investors and traders. As usual, read the prospectus carefully! Apr 08 12:24 PM
