  • Facebook Buyout Of WhatsApp Offers Asymmetrical Risk To Reward [View article]
4B users and $50B revenue by 2020 is certainly a lofty prediction though not impossible. But if we take a conservative approach and say that WA will have 2B in MAUs by 2020 and each one is willing to pay a minuscule $12/yr, or $1 per month, to maintain a service they find meaningful, then $24B in annual revenue is certainly within reason. Which makes the WA purchase freakin genius. And, if we assume most monthly active FB users adopt and begin using WA 2020 which is very possible then, In effect, Zuck has found a way to monetize its own membership base without actually doing it. Anyone playing conservatively with the numbers can do simple math and see this acquisition is just what FB needed to monetize its user base and maintain it's current growth trend.

This stock is very cheap compared to 2016 and 2017 projected revenues. Buy now and hold through the volatility and be handsomely rewarded. This stock is going nowhere but up long-term.

  • Exponential Growth In Mobile Advertising Makes Facebook A Buy [View article]
Moon, you are a broken record constantly yelling "duplicate" this and "duplicate" that all the while FB continues to climb. I'm sure you'll be screaming this non-sense AT&T $100 and $150/share. That must get tiresome. I'm a 33 y/o male and I can assure you from my experience FB is a far greater mobile app than SC or TWTR. Heck, even Instagram is better than those two.

  • Facebook - Growth Company/Laggard Stock [View article]
Let's not forget about the revenues expected to hit in Q1 2014 from Instagram. I think in 6 months time we're looking at a stock that is double where it is currently trading. However, I think the stock goes side ways or even dips into the low 40s before we see a significant upward movement in the stock. If FB can continue growing at or near it's current growth rate for the next 4 Quarters out, we're looking a price of $125. Zuck and company know what they are doing. Long $FB.

  • Facebook reportedly offered $3B or more for Snapchat, was turned down [View news story]
What good business isn't concerned about outside threats? For most businesses, especially in the tech sector, part of maintaining a competitive advantage is to remove these outside threats through either acquisitions or innovation. FB does both and will continue to do both. Who cares being "cool" other than the fickle teeny bop demographic? Teen usage on Instagram is increasing. Enjoy this short squeeze SFC.

FB has been on a steady decline since it's Q3 Earnings Report currently at $46.80/share. How low does it go before it turns and heads north? How high will it go be year end? Thoughts.

  • Facebook Continued Growth Trends Into 2015 [View article]
I was on FB today and saw 5 friends post comments on their lives or pics of their kids. I haven't seen them since college 10 years ago. They were good friends. Where else can I go to keep up in touch with them? Nowhere. Twitter, Instagram, etc don't come anywhere close to offering the platform FB does for this sort of thing. FB is an online scrapbook of your life that you share with others and use to store memories for yourself. No one is going to transfer their life scrapbook to another platform. I have years of my life on FB (kids, marriage, hobbies, etc.) I will keep saved and stored on FB for the unforseeable future to look back on and one day share with my own kids and grand kids. To leave FB would be to throw away years of my life I spent to document. I can quickly and easily access this scrapbook at any time I choose, with the tap of a button. That is powerful. That is why FB could grow to 2B + MAUs and maintain these users. No other company offers the simplicity of documenting your life while sharing it with those you care about. That is why their future is BIG and their downside SMALL. Long FB.

  • The Importance Of Critical Mass To Facebook's Social Network And Metadata [View article]
Because Hyves is not a global social networking site, it would easily be replaced by one (FB) in a continent (Europe) that has experienced exponential growth with FB. Why is it so difficult for the Bears of FB to understand FB is a global company with tons of cash, genius management, and brand recognition/loyalty to utilize in maintaining their competitve edge. The ability to innovate or adapt to the market by buying other companies or providing greater services to their users through other corporate partnerships is almost unlimited. Thus, their percentage of revenue increase in coming years is highly bullish. This is why FB is such a great buy now. Long FB.
