Is Apache Corporation a Solid Investment?

When I graduated in 1978, I got one of those good green jobs. For $5/hour, I killed kangaroo rats, making flat skins, putting their organs in labeled vials, and putting their carcasses in boxes with flesh-eating insects. I also worked on gasohol, that's when we used to put alcohol into gasoline, until 5 years later we found it was inefficient and polluting. I then worked on coal gasification. We made methane out of CO2 and H2, but it was more important to keep the CO2 in the atmosphere to protect against the coming iceage.
In 1980, I got a job with a Major Oil Company working on projects to protect the environment, protect water aquifers, and provide added safety to workers. Since retiring, I have been offered a dozen green energy jobs, but they are only interested in making money. Tell your nephew if he is interested in protecting the environment, get a job with an oil or gas company
