How Obama's Budget Will Affect Commodities

What does "renewable energy projects" mean?
I suspect it means that every 10-15 years we can renew some old energy project and make big money on it without having to actually make any progress. I make this supposition based on past history. In the 70's, I worked on several of the same "alternative energies." They worked as well then as now, just never used. Also, the word renewable makes one think that energy onced wasted can be reused. Cars waste 80% of the energy they use. Diesels, at least, harness most of this waste and recycle it back into power. XOM developed a system whereby they harness previously wasted energy and have reduced the amount of greenhouse gases they produce equal to all of the cars in the US each year. We should be working on conserving energy rather than producing money-making projects. Another scam is making pollution a commodity. People will make money selling dirt that no one will ever use. Sounds like Enron to me.
