    • Windows Collapsing Under Its Own Weight - Gartner [view article]
Microsoft never tested Vista enough. Adobe software like CS3 will not run on it on a Quad-Core Dell PC so we downgraded a Vista machine to XP and it worked fine. Before that Vista ran very slowly and with poor performance. In Vista, there was a lack of drivers and bad hardware integration. It is a very green operating system - a useless piece of junk. Prices in Australia are falling from $799 to $499 for Vista to try and move stock but users are not stupid and will not stomach a junk operating system upgrade like Vista. May be Microsoft is on the run from Linux and really wrecked the Vista launch by not testing and trying to ship to fight off competitors. If Linux keeps up the good work, Windows will eventually fall by the wayside. I sure hope Yahoo! beats Microsoft's takeover bid so Microsoft doesn't wreck Yahoo! too. Yahoo! should never have let Microsoft import Yahoo! Messenger users to Microsoft Messenger. After that Microsoft got greedy and wanted to take over Yahoo! Never partner with Microsoft. They end up buying out the partner. Apr 09 11:43 PM
