  • ADP: Employment growth slowdown continues [View news story]
    Dope,

I disagree because according to Bush and Paulson, without TARP etc, we would indeed begin The Great Depression II. Go read up on Depression I that lasted from 1929 to 1938 and might have gone longer without WWII.

    John and Rope,

No one sane says that the unfunded liabilities of $x Trillion or Billion are good for America. Question is what to do about it. Last action taken by Congress was passed the 2015 fed budget without addressing the menacing deficits in Social Security and Medicare/aid.

    swamp,

Government policies and taxation is the biggest killer of small biz? I'll say government policies and taxation is the biggest kill joy for citizens at large. You and I used to be able to get on cruise ships to send grandpa off on their vacations. You and I used to get very close to airplanes watching friends and relatives board their flights. You and I used to drive muscle cars without expensive catalytic converters. And don't get me started on taxes. I don't want to pay tax of any king. Who needs fire fighters, cops, troops in Iraq anyway?

    dope,

Gee, I don't see any citizens out and about repairing those bridges or filling those pot holes. I also don't see any airlines putting money into upgrading the traffic control systems nor private companies digging to plug those leaks and gaps in sewer/water pipes.

As for those one of a kind $600 toilet seats, fix the problem, fire those involved but don't try to do without 'em toilet seats.

    dope,

Oh! you are counting capital investment as the cost in equipments, buildings and materials now but not counting the other jobs to make them?

Lastly, how about the rest of the infrastructures that I had listed?

$200K for a job that lasted 6 years already and not to mention the other jobs that the $200K had generated.

Notice you ignored the rest of the programs and push for STEM work force.

Infrastructure (not student loans) to repair failing bridges, aging sewer systems, buckling roads, filling pot holes, aviation controls, smart power grids, rural internet access, clean water works, charging stations for Nat Gas or electric cars, levees for flood control ...

As on education, focus on STEM education and incentives as Obama has been doing. Not a single GOP Congress member has joined him in his national circuit to promote job training for technology workers.

    Dope,

We are still losing 700K jobs a month and UE shooting at 25% or more as during The Great Depression? Sorry that your 401K of 2008 is stuck at 101K and your neighborhood still have foreclosure signs up at every street corner, but not for the rest of America.

    systems,

That was 2009 and 2010 ... when GOP's job one was to ensure Obama was a one term president.

Stimulus indeed had saved the banking, housing, Auto and renewable energy industries while provided a safety net for municipal governments from going broke ...

Too bad workers perceptions are not reality though works with consumer sentiments and housing. ADPs sub 200K number is not as good as hoped but much improved to Mar's UE number of 126K.

Without infrastructure job bills from Congress, looks like less than 200K going forward.

What pain? According to Hess, lower domestic activities are back filled by booming business in Africa and Asia. Like some of my Texan friends, they are looking for diversity and consolidation opportunities to weather this passing storm.

Item 3.01 Notice of Delisting or Failure to Satisfy a Continued Listing Rule or Standard; Transfer of Listing.

On April 20, 2015, Home Loan Servicing Solutions, Ltd. (the “Company”) received a letter (the “Nasdaq Letter”) from the Listing Qualifications Staff (“Staff”) of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”), notifying the Company that Nasdaq has determined to delist the ordinary shares of the Company from Nasdaq pursuant to the Staff’s discretionary authority under Listing Rule 5101. The Nasdaq Letter stated that the Staff’s determination was based on its belief that the Company is a “public shell” as a result of (i) the Company’s sale to New Residential Investment Corp. (“New Residential”) of substantially all of its operating assets, as announced in the Company’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed on April 7, 2015 and (ii) the Company’s plan of complete liquidation and dissolution pursuant to which a distribution of approximately $1.2 billion, or $16.613 per share, will be paid on April 27, 2015.

The Nasdaq Letter further stated that the Company may appeal the Staff’s determination to a Hearings Panel (the “Panel”), pursuant to the procedures set forth in the Nasdaq Listing Rules. A hearing request would stay the suspension of the Company’s securities and the filing of the Form 25-NSE pending the Panel’s decision. Unless the Company requests an appeal, the Company’s ordinary shares will be delisted from Nasdaq at the opening of business on April 29, 2015 and a Form 25-NSE will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), which will remove the Company’s securities from listing and registration on Nasdaq.
