  • NQ Mobile changes auditors [View news story]
    leopard,

I responded to you in another thread that NQ should disclose why PwC asked to examine those 3rd party documents and wonder why NQ should stick with PwC for a qualified 20-F filing.

  • Update: NQ Mobile's Audit In Major Jeopardy [View article]
    leopard,

Possible but shorts are not finished as there is still no timeline for the 20-F and without disclosure on why PwC insisted to examine those 3rd party documents. No doubt there were something not 100% kosher which may or may not be material.

NQ needs to provide full disclosure before I consider it a long term hold.

    Meanwhile enjoy the volatility.

mw, If I were the shorts, I would cover near cash value and apparently most day at 17.6 mil volume so far, more than the entire float.

Dante, Didn't PwC signed off NQ's IPO and 2012 20-F with Yidatong in the mix?

giant, The shorts are obviously covering making boatloads of money today, after losing puts for 17 mil shares and 13 mil shares in prior two options expiration day. 15 mil shares traded already after 90 minute. Amazing with less than 10 mil available floats.

    Justin,

Congras, $5.02, massive reversal. At issue is if FASB buys the argument on cause to fire PwC.

    giov,

Good for you. The relatively thin volume pre-market on such a monumental news on options expiration day was a signal that there were few sellers. But I would be trading, not buy and hold.

    Good luck.

    MW, possible.

As on the HALT, SEC and NYSE should review why PwC was fired, i.e. if asking to review 3rd party documents is a standard or legit FASB practice; and/or why.

freed0m, Would PwC issue a qualified 20-F? If not, why not unless NQ thought those qualified statements would further the mess.

NQ could have accepted a qualified PwC 20-F with the caveats on potential 3rd party P&L issues???

sam, is there a chance that PwC would explain their rational to request for:

For example, PwC has requested that the Company provide PwC with access to multiple third parties' original bank statements and financial records.

Bob, Hey, I turned from hold to trading NQ as you know it. Why all of a sudden it is not okay to comment on the volatility and opportunity? As I had pointed out numerous times, the daily volume told us everyone has been trading and churning the available float multiple times. Bet you and friends have been doing the same.

nemesis, Regardless of fraud or else, the intraday shares rose to $25.9 and fell down to $3.40 ($3.00 low pre-market), below it's all time intraday low of $3.46 on 10/4/2011. It is now down to if the characters involved with NQ are all dirty scandals or not.

    Good luck.
