I am a geologist who specializes in carbonates. My work predominantly involves exploration for oil and gas, but at times I have been involved in assessments of copper and lithium reserves, and geothermal potential. I received my MS from the University of Texas at Austin. I have worked in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Ethiopia, Albania, Chile, Spain, the Netherlands, and Alaska. My current job involves exploration for and evaluation of oil and gas reserves, competitive analysis, and strategic planning. My primary focus is on unconventional gas, but the entire energy market is of interest to me. I trade the forex market in my free time.
