Amazon prime is not a comparable service, and I'm not sure why people keep comparing it with Netflix. I have had each service pretty much since they began, and if and when Amazon prime becomes a replacement for Netflix, I will be the first to drop Netflix. That has not happened. Prime has gotten me to buy a lot more "stuff" by being a member, but finding and watching free movies that they have available for Prime members is more work than it is worth. It is well worth paying the extra $8 a month to have Netflix too.
