    I'll still take Buffett over almost any other guru out there. Robert, if he isn't a legend then find someone with a better 20, 30 and 40 year track record. There isn't anyone. Besides, any small or mid-cap company can do better because its easy to double from $200m to $400m, but going from $50B to $100B is much more difficult. You're trivializing a more complex comparison. Also, your dividend point is senseless. A dividend reduces the chance of using the dividend to grow earnings faster, so unless the dividend is invested by the shareholder better then the company could, its not better.

    And to the people saying he's only looking out for his own wealth, your way off base. He's a company's Investment officer so he has to do whats best for his shareholders. His own personal wealth doesn't mean anything because he's giving it all away. He stated his entire personal wealth will go to charitable foundations when he dies. He's not even giving it to his children. If that isn't philanthropy I don't know what is.
