    Wouldn't disagree with your fundamental point. However, you should have highlighted that there are broadly three different ways to construct an ETF (direct share purchases, swaps, or guarantees); whilst the degree of counterparty risk in a direct-purchase ETF is minimal, the same cannot be said for the other two models.
