  • Deutsche Treat - Cramer's Lightning Round (5/6/08) [View article]
I agree this guy cramer is wild and he just throws out stuff without convincing or compelling reasons. I mean how sensible is it to just say"buy" or "sell"??

  • How Much Will Jerry Yang's Ego Cost Yahoo Shareholders? [View article]
One final comment on this article before i move on. I would have loved to have seen what the article writer would have written this morning had the deal gone through at 33? Talking about ego, I noticed how the writer started his article by stating, to quote:"Remember when I said that if I were Microsoft (MSFT) I'd lower the bid for Yahoo (YHOO)?". Notice the emphasis on "remember what "I" said.! I am not sure who has the ego: Yang or the writer of this value-less article.!

  • How Much Will Jerry Yang's Ego Cost Yahoo Shareholders? [View article]
The writer of this article thinks he has discovered something by eluding to the fact that Yahoo stock will get hit come Monday.!! I can assure him that Yahoo Board is/was aware of the impact on the stock following their refusal of MS offer. So it should not come as a surprise...!!!

  • How Much Will Jerry Yang's Ego Cost Yahoo Shareholders? [View article]
I am not sure why you need to personalize this matter so much. Yahoo's decision not to accept MS offer is a collective board decision and not Yang's sole and discretionary decision. You assume Yahoo's board and major shareholders are kids being ordered around by Yang. please, stop this nonsense and write something meaningful, logical, and useful! Please, ask yourself what value has your article provided to your readers????

  • Inside the Apple/PA Semi Deal: Micro and Macro Perspectives [View article]
Good speculative article. Speculation is growing around a "gaming platform". Apple's introduction of a gaming platform similar to Nintendo would do wonders for the company and its lineup of products. I would bet on this aspect of the purchase.

  • Apple’s Dramatic Risks and Ambitions [View article]
I commented earlier on another article about apple on this site. I do not think the writers at seeking alpha understand that the chip made by PA is not suitable for iphone application. Currently, the chip is high power consumption and may not be ready for iphone before a couple of years. The chip is dual core lightning speed cutting edge product. What we understand this chip is more suitable for handheld gaming gadgets that demand high processing power. Suggestions indicate Apple may be in the process of a "gaming" handheld device maker acquisition where this chip is ideally suited. ~A handheld gaming device would complete Apple's product line....!!!!

  • Apple / P.A. Semi Deal May Hit Defense-Work Snag [View article]
The chip is dual core super fast ideal for handheld gaming gadgets. What is missing from apple's lineup to close the loop of being the super power in media, etc. ? Does Nintendo sound familiar?

  • Apple / P.A. Semi Deal May Hit Defense-Work Snag [View article]
your information is completely WRONG. The chip is high power consumption!!!! In its present form it is not ideally suitable for iphone application. However, apple disclosed that modifications are possible but may not be used in iphone before a couple of years. The purchase of P.A semi is obviously for other purposes that apple is not disclosing..... have you thought about a gaming acquistion that is in the works for apple where this chip could be of use? Think about it.....!

  • GE's Earnings Miss: What Ever Happened to Warning Investors First? [View article]
It is inconceivable the CEO of GE did not know in advance the level of GE's earnings shortfall. I am a corporate executive and it is no secret to say that corporate executives (let alone the CEO) know way in advance of the earnings release what the real forecast will be. I am of the opinion, the GE CEO actions are completely unacceptable and border on being unethical. What about the rest of the so called expert analysts who only hours prior to the earnings release were reporting "strong" and "solid" earnings for GE??!! They should pack their bags and find other jobs instead of misleading the public.
