The Implications of Russia's Declining U.S. Debt Purchases [View article]
As foreign debt purchases decline, hyperinflation will be raising its monstrous head. This will be great for those holding lots of cash but disastrous for those needing it.
This AM the Treas. Sec. and the Pres. said the success of the massive tax payer bailout will be dependent on borrowers' continuing ability to pay off their debt. That causes me much pessimism about the world's economic future ( as goes the USA, so goes the world.) The bull in the china closet is rising unemployment, jobs exportation, and low wages. The next failure will have to be fixed by the only ones with enough money to do so; i.e., the muslims who have all that oil wealth. They will be more than willing to step up; however, part of their required collateral will be TOTAL CONTROL OF EVERYTHING. May God continue to bless the USA.
