    since 2000, buffett's net worth has dropped 60% against gold. he was worth 4000 tons of gold in 2000, now only 1500 tons at best.

    companies/stocks don't last forever, never will.

    but losing to gold is still very honorable and quite inevitable because gold is immortal.

    what if the DOW would behave like the Nikkei? making new lows after 20 years!

    the world has changed beyond recognition considering 2 billion more people(indians and chinese) are competing with americans and japanese for food and jobs! please stay cautious!
