Normally SIRI should keep rising similar to Apple just because of general optimism, not hard specifics. Not in this scenario though, cause of the plots, manipulation, shorting shares behind the scenes. People who predicted big rises, including me, turn out being fooled.

Sirius Earnings Preview: The Worst Is Over [View article]
Don't forget what cos said about the millions of shares SIRI has lent to institutions for the purpose of shorting, as part of financing deals. That effect only works one way, and it won't stop. I guess it's not a "plot" and not illegal. And I heard nothing about the SEC trying to ban naked short selling. I give up trying to predict Karmazin amd SIRI. It's been said before, the stock is not normal and can't be predicted normally. In my layman's judgment I'd say reverse now, and don't expect too much of a dip.
When Should Sirius XM Implement a Reverse Split? [View article]
I don't believe Karmazin would do a reverse split after it passes $1. He has said only if forced to. Any realistic way of eliminating the millions of shares lent specifically for shorting? A split doesn't solve that. Cos and his "CANNOT" can mislead a lot of readers. So there's nothing contractual or legal preventing a split?

Anyone who understand the fundamentals of this company cannot possibly support a R/S when the company has agreement out there for “Qualified Entities” to borrow shares Exlusively for the purpose of shorting the stock."
Not being a finance expert, this seems like a significant point to me. But then, what do you mean by "CANNOT"? Maybe it's just your opinion that they "definitely should not"? More clarity would be helpful.
Sirius XM Radio Attacked Unfairly by Media [View article]
About international reception, it seems the man from Germany didn't explain it enuf. I'll bet he meant they got their (there?) subscription because of there (their?) US residency connection. Someone outside US will get a computer message "not available in your country". It's (its?) available in Canada because companies were set up there (their?) with proper arrangements.
A few months ago someone who sounded knowledgeable wrote that this $2 is 3 times what the royalty charge is. Second, Sirius was paying the same royalties before charging extra, so it's new income for them. Oh the advantages of being a monopoly. Unfortunately it's also a question whether the labels really pass much of it to artists. Costs money to handle the paperwork and all you know. SIRI down below .40 sounds right now.

Does a reverse split lower the price? I think it depends whether the company is looking up or looking down. On the way down I can see it causing more pessimism. If it's positive I don't think it should. SIRI is moderately positive. Does that sound right?
Your good commentators. You're spelling is improving.
Warner Music Negotiates More Control in New YouTube Deal [View article]
What interests me is rare music that's posted by users. Labels would not be presenting those in their official channels. I'd like to see a plan where those uploaders could be accepted and share in revenue, like a "distributor fee". It should be split equally, and Google should make sure it's fair. But the battle will be when labels try to screw everyone, offer a couple pennies, and maybe want to charge the uploaders to be part of it. They would kill it, predictably.
Why wasn't this article referenced on the AOL page? Any kind of suppression kicking in? Of course satellite radio won't be for everyone so don't react like children. Disclosure: I'm not in a position of subscribing, just playing with the stock. If I wanted to listen to 50s and 60s music, are there maybe two channels there? How many hours of listening before the repeat cycle starts, and then continues forever? I'm involved with some music programming on websites. If there isn't a plan for constant refreshing ... I don't know. Yes in Canada the lineups are not exactly the same. You want balanced coverage in comments ... but none negative? No consideration about a reverse split. Precious little consideration of manipulation. Is that the kind of talk that gets articles banned at AOL? These are not pleasant boards to be involved in, but I can't keep my fat mouth shut.
Oh grow up RAF. The movie Stock Shock was produced to no avail with people like you. Poor Brandon is speaking to deaf ears. Goldman Sachs has not engaged in manipulation, Karmazin has no "plans" in his mind, his mind is empty and just rolling with the flow like yours.

Siri-Doom knows perfectly well what he is saying, he just may not use exactly the right word. You talk and think as if there will be no reverse split. What's hard to grasp about that. There's still a question about the exact cutoff date - 12th or 14th.
