Age 74, retired healthcare consultant. Manage my own self directed IRA and joint account. Previous to retirement in 2008, my portfolio was in energy including MLP's. I was in cash from December 2007 to December 2008. My retirement required that I have an income portfolio so I purchased MLP bonds in Dec of 2008 at about 75-85 cents on the dollar. They all are now priced well above 100 cents on the dollar. I will deversify my portfolio into MLP's IF Democrats DO NOT gain control of congress in 2013.
