Ok Im confused...... Does GDP pay back debt.
I thought it was the part time workers in health care and food service .
So shouldn't debt best be described as a ratio of( the solvency) the earnings of the add on adjustment for crime, drugs and other non taxable activity plus the non taxable earnings ( over 15% of the wealthy ie Buffet) multiplied by the taxable earning growth rate of Apple inc . This is known as Govt revenue.
MY mistake I forgot the printing by FED.. This is known as Govt revenue.
    Divided by ..
What doesn't the Govt spend money on???
adjusted by the participation rate then divided by the average tax percentage rate
and expressed in the number of years till the debt is payed off.
Untill recently at a 50% tax rate it would take over 70 years to repay the debt
But that's not the point of this strong delusion is it?

  • Insiders Are Not Buying These Gold Mining Stocks [View article]
You did see the chart above , embedded in the article.
Im not real sharp but if I divide 21 by 26 that's 80% . Again I think Im right to say that's a 20% loss over the 'tax loss selling season' .
a 20 % loss is not so trivial when you factor in that it needs to increase by 30% to break even.
To be fair last year may not have been usual but im thinking I have enough tax loss carry overs for quite a few years and I would rather pay taxes on a gain than sit on a loser for another year. Maybe that's why mutual funds sell losers.
What is Usual lately is back to back 30-35 % drops in mining stocks the past three years .Last I looked it was at 97% probability curve something over 4.5 sigma event, should occur once in ten thousand years ( off the top of my head- please do correct)

Thanks for the reminder Tax loss selling makes sense .

What doesn't make sense is insiders selling sprott phys.

Into weakness? Probably to raise cash to buy miners (leaverage)
Like they are not financers and able to borrow at low rates
You got to have Gold right. Count it in ounces not dollars?

So a perennial Gold investment team with years of experience in up and down markets loads of industry experience and success cant get it right and sells its own holdings (again, pslv)

Insider buying / selling may indicate what that officer/insider feels about a certain price , is that able to be overcome by hedgefund selling or even central bank intervention. .. What will Japanese retirement funds buy in 2015 ...facebook?

"JPM true belief" that silver will go lower is clearly seen by the off match in cds rate swaps for the long position hedge in gold.
The belief is when it goes down it all goes down re 2008

    Hebba.
Does the Gold actually move when the LBMA approved repository or the comex say its moved or does title /designation
    just change?
With Banks (TBTF) now moving out of the commodities warehousing business thanks to inquiring senators

What if they just redesignate it in house. Similar psychology. its not available, not at this price. But it isn't safely in the hands of a Chinese Housewife either.

Yes I know the wsj article is about base metals but if you see a train coming.

Maybe I can send some to my bank , they can send some electrons to my plastic card vendor who will trade some digital positive negative divergents to the liquid petroleum distillate vendor
Im trying to get my tank filled up from. Apparently my trading my skills and time for a digital balance in the cloud has a problem when his information structure is hosted on the cloud somewhere, and it goes down. Im stuck and I don't think this guy is gonna trust me.

Shoot I aint Lehman Bro, bail me out here will ya.

  • Pretium Resources: Current Valuation Offers Acquirers An Accretive Transaction Even At A 40% Premium [View article]
Hebba , yeah your analysis is solid enough.
unfortunately that doesn't mean the price wont go down for a while first. Rick Rule out of Sprott is calling for a capitulation move and seeing some web posters becoming ebullient reminds me of the last quarter 2010 smack down. The printing, The Debt, The non profit sellers.
Why is Canada considered a "stable" 'safe' jurisdiction? They have hardly any Gold in reserves ( I believe Sprotts ETF is vaulted at the Royal Mint) So in a systemic freeze up they wont hypothecate , rehypothecate,
impede, impinge , confiscate because they are so darn Royal Mounty like?
    Would Mexico nationalize A.G.?
I know its beyond Knowing but Im interested in your views as an investor in the PM arena
Lastly. Good Call. IAG closes Mali mine . The closures begin

    Hebba,
where do you get LOP costs from ? Comparing similar mine costs in Canada? Estimating fuel and labor costs over the next 4-7 years?
Similar thought to closing costs, most closed mines have land clean up environmental costs not to mention water environmental costs during operation( the type of ore extraction proposed is?)
trying to understand your process here.

Also in an Industry fraught with abuses of shareholder dilution over the years your thinking here is the latest dilution was a good thing??
With backers such as Sprott and JPM why wernt they lined up if the deal is so darn good . They let some one else dilute them at this juncture with Gold so low and inventories at Comex so low?
