I grew up in Healdsburg, California, a small town roughly 60 miles north of San Francisco, and still live there today with my wife and two daughters. While earning my bachelor's degree in Mathematics at U.C. Berkeley in the early '90s, I was lucky enough to meet and begin working for legendary biotech analyst and investor Jim McCamant. It was a life-changing experience that inspired me to eventually launch my own investment newsletter in February 1995... and over the past nineteen years, Nate's Notes has quietly become one of the best performing investment newsletters in the country (based on rankings published monthly by The Hulbert Financial Digest). In response to subscriber interest, I launched a second "covered call" service called The Wagmore Advisory Letter in August 2013. Along with my near obsession with the stock market, I also enjoy playing frisbee golf, spending time volunteering at my daughters' school, cooking, playing my guitar, banjo, and clarinet (never simultaneously!), tending my vegetable and cacti/succulent gardens, and taking care of my 120 gallon salt water reef aquarium.
