I guess a bargain at 446 is an even better bargain at 359. Back up the truck.
Since this article was published, Barron's, normally with a skeptical view, has heaped praise on RH (and that other world savior, MZ) as a top CEO. All hail.

and hopefully profitable for me. would love to hear them call Marc a liar but they'd probably use a euphemism.

I think you may be confusing this Blackstone with the other Blackstone.

Did you imply that you anticipate that CRM will pay dividends? Shouldn't a company make some actual profit first? Or am I misunderstanding you?

Marc B. will never be embarrassed as he is incapable of shame. What other CEO has been known to sell approaching (or more than) a million dollars a day in options, 5 days a week, for years? Seriously, if anyone knows of others in this category, I would appreciate finding out.

If I ever wanted to pursue the CFA designation (I am good at taking tests), I think I just lost the motivation. As someone who has shorted NFLX in the past, thus, I am no lover of the stock, quite the opposite, I have to say that IS & Gary J win this one. They are making profit. They are growing at 50+% outside the US where most of the human race live and where a growing middle class can afford their low subscription rate. I hate to be wrong but I hate it even more when writers brag about the size of their firm's AUM (mine is bigger than yours ... grammar school locker room banter) and "check your credentials". I judge based on logic & reason.

  • Steep Net Income Decline Despite Tax Benefit Underlies Salesforce's Lopsided Growth Strategy [View article]
what's his motivation to make profit ever? he already has enough money from selling shares (still $1M daily like in the old days?) to live very well for many lifetimes (even though sadly, like the rest of us, he just has the one). Traders keep bidding the price up regularly in spite of the lack of profit. So he has no reason to show a GAAP profit. No one ever claimed that the human race is rational or plays fair. CRM is case in point. Best to laugh, crying won't solve anything.

I truly hate to admit this but for this much loved and much hated stock the better metric is PEG ... and look at the European growth.
