Populist Politics Shouldn't Be Driving Financial Reform

If the smaller banks and the regional banks want to have laws that are to their advantage then let me suggest that next presidential campaign they should outbid GS and others in "donating". I'm all for free markets. And if there is any one from the small banking industry reading this keep in mind that GS (individual aggregate) provided almost $1M to Obama's presidential campaign.
