In a desperate environment, if Apple cut their prices by 50% with new cost products, Microsoft will affected badly. Microsoft already losing ground to Firefox, Safari and StarOffice. New mini portable notebooks may abandon Windows for free Linux soon. Microsoft must find a new market.

Apple, Microsoft Are Buys Ahead of Earnings

I would not buy Apple although owe an Apple notebook. I believe with evidence of the huge profits that they are overcharging their customers. So I switched to other makers.
