The Global Reach of the First Million 3G iPhones [view article]
Man ALIVE! NEVER.... AND I MEAN NEVER! Did I think iPhone would reach this fever pitch... I wanted it to... and now Apple and AT&T have blown even me AWAY!I just ordered my White 16gig and can't wait!
I bit the bullet and canceled with Alltel. My Moto PIECO $#^$!#$%
was too much for me to take. I am now giving my iPod Touch to my girlfriend.
To all naysayers of Apple... keep your heads in the sand. I like it that way. Apple DARED to THINK DIFFERENT and its paying off.
Wait till they release the iPhone Nano! OH! You think its all rumor.... MAYBE... BUT AAPL has products in it's pipeline that only AAPL can dream up. The KIDS ARE GONNA EAT THIS STUFF UP!
RIM, NOKIA, SONY, SPRINT, T-MOBILE, MOT...etc...,,,,,,
KEEP DREAMING for now because the next 3 years are going to be your worst nightmare. LOSS AFTER LOSS AFTER LOSS.
Just take @ Sprint's Q2 report. NOT GOOD.
AAPL: NO DEBT.... LET ME REPEAT THAT. NO NATA ZERO DEBT.
SPRINT: $19.5 BILLION in DEBT. YES PEOPLE THATS WITH A B.
iJah420 says GOOD LUCK! Because that's all u got left.

3G iPhone's Effect on Texas Instruments, Broadcom and STMicroelectronics [view article]
Nokia gives away phones. Their smartphone offerings are lackluster @ best. I would rather sell 100 phones and net $10k than sell 10,000 phones and net $1k. Nokia's phones are just that... phones. That N95.. BAH! its NOT a PLATFORM. It's NOT a COMPUTER. surf the web on each hand held and post your feelings.... there is NO comparison.ijah420 knows....The Best has yet to come from AAPL. :) Jul 24 10:28 AM
Time to Stand Up for Steve Jobs [view article]
FINALLY! Kudos to you Jason. You speak the truth and that will serve you well in the future. No AAPL is NOT PERFECT. However unlike any other tech Co. APPLE has EARNED their place in the tech world. Many more fantastic innovations will come from the masterminds behind the doors @ AAPL. Apple is a tech LEADER not a follower or copier and that mindset has FINALLY paid off and paid off BIG TIME!
To be honest, even though MobileMe was EH HEM anything but a smooth launch it should serve Apple well into the future to learn and grow from the experience and make them a tad more humble. THEY WILL IRON OUT THE KINKS>They will make it happen.
So in closing Jason Thank You. Thank You VERY MUCH for having the gajungas to speak your mind and for ONCE telling the TRUTH.... A very rare occurrence in this day and age of the dimwitted half baked less than true analysis spin on APPL.
iJah420 smiles today because of Jason Schwarz.. Cheers! Jul 23 09:15 AM
Will iPhone 3G Cause RIM Customers to Churn to Apple? [view article]
Most BB users have NO CLUE about whats going on in this new PLATFORM world AAPL has created. NO CLUE. Denial is an understatement. I mean come on do they truly believe they will get the same apps developed for the Thunder? On a different note.
Do any of the major airlines have plans for BB connectivity?
Do any major auto manufactures have plans for BB connectivity?
Does RIM develop and design or HAVE their own computer line?
Do they have anything CLOSE to iTunes in place?
The nail in the coffin 4 BB in the next year is this...
Best email on a mobile device.
Email on iPhone offers a viewing experience unlike any other mobile device. Its rich HTML format means email looks and acts like email on your computer. With support for Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, PDF, JPEG, and now iWork, attachments can be viewed exactly as they were designed to be. Users can even zoom in on important information with the tap of a finger. And now that iPhone has built-in support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, users get all the benefits of push email.
CUT & PASTE is just a matter of time. Battery life will improve and 3rd party battery packs will flourish. Folks this is iPod act 2.
In addition the App Store is iTunes second coming X1000.
Good luck RIM your going 2 need it.
iJah420 knows the truth... CrackBerry Users know the truth but deny the second comin of iPod...
iPhone 1.0 = iPod 2001 x 10
iPhone 2.0 = iPod 2001 x 1000 or more
AND U KNOW WHAT?
Steve Jobs & Co. earned IT! and DESERVE IT! Because they decided to THINK DIFFERENT!!! VISTA for ENTERPRISE!!!! JAH RIGHT!!!! BAH!
BUNCHA PC CLONES... OH WHAT SHALL WE DO OH FEARLESS LEADER MONKY BOY STEVE help me I have fallen & can't get UP! Jul 11 10:05 AM
Will iPhone 3G Cause RIM Customers to Churn to Apple? [view article]
Industry analysts are predicting that Apple, by adding business-user functionality in the iPhone 3G, and RIM, with the introduction of the Blackberry Bold later this year, are on a collision course.Collision Course????
Read the following and it sounds more like Apple & Co. has a steamroller and RIM has a moped. The Thunder should be BETTER than the Bold. read on..
Verizon Wireless is counting on a touchscreen BlackBerry from Research In Motion -- code-named "Thunder" -- to help it compete against archrival AT&T, which is Apple's exclusive U.S. carrier partner for the new iPhone 3G. Here's hoping things get worked out, fast: Mobile blog Boy Genius Report says Thunder is "nowhere near being able to enter production," citing a source who, the site claims, works for RIM (RIMM).
What's wrong with Thunder? Well, what isn't wrong with it? The keyboard is "incredibly annoying" to type on, the screen shows "ripples even when pressed ever-so-lightly," the user interface "blinks and lags," and the software is "a joke." Based on how long it's taken RIM and AT&T (T) to sort out problems with the forthcoming BlackBerry Bold, BGR concludes, "Thunder won?t be ready for at least another 4-5 months."
Good LUCK with that BOYZ!!! Jul 10 04:41 PM

My 2 girls 8&12 can not wait for super monkey ball.Just ponder for a moment @ the impact of this app store.
You have developers all over the Globe designing very, VERY sophisticated medical hand held applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch...... and on the other hand you have the gaming developers launching this monkey ball game that will bring the biggest smile to my 8 year olds face...
BOTH on the same PLATFORM... Hard to compete with that...eh?
I just hope to God that that BRAIN ROT Grand Theft Auto NEVER gets approved for this device.

Keep an eye on the Instinct real world reviews and I ponder they will shed a whole new light on the future of this device.Battery being a sore spot my gut tells me.
more food for thought...
United Airlines has introduced iPod and iPhone connectivity on board its trans-Atlantic flights, starting with its Washington D.C.-Zurich service.
Apple: Mercedes to offer iPhone integration
By Opal Tribble
iPhone integration in cars? Apple has definitely made an impression, and its products are becoming products that consumers just have to have.
Mercedes-Benz is getting ready to launch a device that places the device into the center console.
I do not see Nokia's name anywhere.
Nor do I see Instinct integration in cars.
How about Zune!? Minimal.
Blackberry integration in cars? good luck with that RIM.
iJah420 looking fwd to the next 5 yrs. this is just the tip of the iceburg.

How much is that N95?DOH! Not a mainstream device. Nor does it carry with it a top notch OS and a kick butt SDK.
Most naysayers r missing the boat w/the iPhone..
it is NOT a phone. Its a handheld computer PLATFORM that can make phone calls.. UUUGH! Wake UP!
ijah420 so very sick and tired of the SYSTEM!!!!
Keep laughing @ this toy maker AAPL.... Yea that iPod its just a FAD... A TOY!! 2 the tune of 150m units and growing.
Lets see... anyone take a look @ AAPL's market cap? AND to refresh your memory... NO DEBT!!!

More Phone Trouble: Sony Ericsson Issues Q2 Warning
Posted by Eric Savitz
Trouble in the mobile phone business continue to mount.
Following up on disappointing results this week from both Research In Motion (RIMM) and Palm (PALM), Sony Ericsson (SNE, ERIC) this morning said that sales and pre-tax net income in the second quarter would “continue to be negatively affected by moderating demand of mid-to-high end mobile phone,” as well new product delays.
The company expects to ship 24 million phones in the second quarter, with an ASP of 115 Euros. Gross margin will be down both sequentially and year-over-year; the company expects to break even in the quarter before taxes. (The company notes that it sold over 100 million phones in 2007.)
This morning, Ericsson is off 74 cents, or 6.8%, to $10.12, while Sony is down $1.09, or 2.4%, to $44.46. Palm, which reported weak results after the close yesterday, is down 46 cents, or 7%, at $6.08. RIMM, which fell $18.88 yesterday, is down another $5.91, or 4.8%, to $117.55. Nokia (NOK) is down 82 cents, or 3.3% at $24.24; Apple (AAPL), which fell $9.13 yesterday, is down another $2.22, or 1.3%, to $166.04.
Little to no effect?

DejaVuiPhone 2.0 w/SDK 2008 = iPod 2001 x 10000+
Its like DejaVu. The MP3 player market happened well before the release of the iPod. There were many players available for purchase PRIOR to the iPod. ALL onlooker naysayers LAUGHED @ AAPL..... ITS TO EXPENSIVE! its this.... it its that... BLAH BLAH! and on and on. Well the rest is history.....
Now the SAME THING IS HAPPENING!!!! except this time the stakes are higher. How many analysts claim that AAPL doesn't under stand the telecoms or how they do not know enterprise? huh? Well keep doubting all you want, AAPL is poised for greatness and growth due to their superior innovation, hardware design and OS. Keep laughing people the yet has yet to come from AAPL.
