Who I am and where I am coming from: I do not work in the securities industry, though I probably should. However, I am a highly educated individual with an MBA 1975, and a long memory of the economic disasters and successes of the last 60 years, for I have actually lived through these decades, much like Jim Cramer, who I admire for his sector insight and stock knowledge, teaching style, and the ability to say what he means. By the way, there is more truth in what he says then others are willing to admit. I have heard years of doom and gloom; and have read the flowery buy and hold market ideologues. I trade stocks with modest success, and am able to avoid most major market disasters, but there will always be occasionally minor market hiccups and setbacks. So if you are looking for the wisdom of wealth, I suggest you study great businesses and learn their sectors; read past and present annual reports, and listen to conference calls. Welcome to the age of instant communications where the ability to voice an emotionally biased political opinion far exceeds ones ability to logically reason out the situation for the betterment of mankind, or your wallet. Please don’t think I am being rude, but think first before engaging fingers on keyboard to post your opinion. Remember, you do not make money when you incite panic or bubble mania, for you are merely crying wolf – use your common sense for the market has been around far longer then you.
