The Second Reason Consumers Aren't Spending

Impulse items are down. If I want something fixed or built in my home, I get on the internet, educate myself, and do most or all of the job myself. Also, the savings rate of Americans should be changing from negative to positive in the years to come. Getting off credit cards and consuming only necessities is my mantra for the future. Remember, we have entered era of "The Death of Consumption." Materialism Bad, Frugality Good.
