David Lamer is Founder and CEO of CORE Brand Advisors, a strategic consulting firm providing merchandise and brand management insight to global lifestyle brands. Most recently, he was Vice President of Merchandise Planning at Cole Haan, an affiliate of Nike which he helped turnaround and sell for $560 million. From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Lamer was part of the original team at Tommy Hilfiger that helped build the brand from less than $75 million in the U.S. to more than $1.7 billion globally. In 1999 Mr. Lamer founded Joshuatown Advisors, a global consultancy providing research and branding services to emerging brands and designers.
