GTC, Check the demographics, the present birth-rate is less than 2 worldwide. By 2050 the population will decline absolutely and will spiral downward at a geometric rate. Is there anything on the horizon that will cause birthrates to increase? I doubt it. Russia has already tried a "stimulus" program to encourage population growth. Whether it works remains to be seen. People like Jim Rogers are as old as the average farmer in Nebraska, and they have a short-term view because of their age.
